what's in yours?

Recruiting Apron Flyer, 2-3 catalogs, outside order forms, wish list, planning guide, how to have $1000 show and host and guest specials and business card. I send the invitations myself.

Personally for me I used to struggle with putting them together. I woould rather be on the phone than in the office :)
So starting last month I have started to offer my hostesses the option of "going Green".
What that means is...
They recieve a host planning guide.
3-4 catalogs
That's it!
We send invites through my PWS and we do phone calls to invite those without email. I will email the host the guest specials host specials and opportunity flyers and then I will call and spend a couple of minutes in front of the computer with her going over the information. So far, great reaction and good attendance and sales.
I teach my recruits to keep it simple and that they only truley need the catalog to do this business so I do the same.
****A special bonus is that I can track the guests and I have people getting outside orders way before the show date!

OOPSIE! I also email them the outside order form and tell them to print as many as they need.

I love it. I put way too much in my packet.

Try it and let me know how you make out :)

i thought i was being lazy by emailing mine, i guess i wasn't...............i'm an email person.......................works great..................

Most of my host are from the older generation and don't use computers

It takes me about 10 minutes to get a host booklet ready

I have already printed most of the flyers for catalog and cooking shows - they are all in the book together - if I handed the booklet out as a cooking show and then the next host is catalog host - I will just pull out the catalog flyer that is just behind the cooking one

I have found out that by doing this - this saves me money and time because the flyers come back looking great and so I use them over and over. This saves me money, time, paper, ink and I still have given the host enough info. My host - since I have given them this booklet - actually sits down and read the stuff inside. They will use the page in front that says "Ask me Questions" so the next time we talk - that page is there with there questionsnwritten down on there ready for me. The stuff is organazied, looks nice, easy to handle and easy to take any where. Everything is contained in one area - the booklet and not in an envelope (which can tear, things can be misplaced, lost, ripped, torn, spilled on, etc.)

To me, this is going GREEN for me.

I do wish my host would use the website more for their invites but when I type up there invites I put my website on it and I usually get 2 if not 3 orders from the website and they are for out of towners.

just my opinion

I add a packet of popcorn and the recruiting dvd and tell them to pop the corn and the dvd in for 10 minutes that could change their life!! I put my host packet in a 5 file folder (found them at Target for $1 each but can't find them anymore) and so the planning guide, catalog/order form, popcorn/dvd, invites (20) and list to send me, and h&g specials all have their own place.

I did just talk with my TX cluster director and her's is more simple but both are effective. Its what you want to put in it. :-)

Hee Hee Not Lazy....enviormentally responsible!
You to Teresa! Your host booklet sounds great. If anyone could see how truly office challenged I am they would understand.
I need to have everything to do with paper done for me. So Teresa I would like to order 10 of those booklets for April! :) LOL

It is so nice that we all can run our businesses so differently. That is what I like about CS, I get to see how really different we all are, yet sucessful and living the dream.
It's awesome.

It would be neat to order these

I LOVE making them - I have tried several things before I got to this point

I use to make nice looking host packet and put them into envelopes and then I rarely ever got anything back - couldn't understand how the host wouldn't look at the stuff - then I realized - it was disorganized and everywhere.

In my own opinion, they do look great.

I talk more with my host about the stuff in the booklet more now then ever

:chef:

Good for you!

I have found that as long as you do it consistently, that is all that matters :)

This is what I've been doing. I think I need to change things up...

What do you have in your host/ess packets? I have been reading recent post and feel like I might be over doing it. I do a folder. One the front of the folder I have a 'does the apron fit' flyer. In the first pocket I put the address and unable to attend labels, the host check list (the thing that has their wish list and invite list), your life, your way brochure, and the dvd as well as a registry pamphlet. and their invites. In the middle (I use report covers so that pages last longer) I put a game (invite ten people from the list get a prize or the host bingo), then comes the 10 questions you may have about PC. Then comes info on Round up and HWC. Then the cross sell page for cookware. My 'menu' (recipes that I offer). The upcoming 3 host specials (one page with all three and lines that say 'i want to host April, May, or June with blanks). and then the guest special for this month. And then on the last page I have info about clubs. In the back pocket I have 3 catalogs and 5 outside order forms. Am I over doing it? I just want my host to be informed and be able to assist guests right away without having 'I'm not sure, give Amy a call' and then the person never calls and never gets an answer. Let me know what you think please.

I like that popcorn and the recuiting DVD. What a great idea!!!!!!!!!!!

Teresa.
I would love to know what flyers etc you put into your hostess packets. Wow your hostess are reading them. That is my goal! I don't know if what I am putting in my packets are the right things etc. I don't put in a wish list. Teresa, I'm not sure if you can do this, but can you post what you put into your hostess packets?

If anyone here has great success with their hostess packets/show sales/booking, attendance, let me know what you put in them. Thanks!
Katie

I have posted it on here before with files and pictures (on a zip file) - Let me see if I can find that file again - I lost my computer(crashed that is) last October so some files are gone that I save. If I can't find it, I will redo the zip file and post it on here - give me a little time and I will be back

:chef:

I found the files but after looking over the files - that was 18 months ago. I will update the files and ppost a little later today.

Thanks for asking

:chef:

Thanks so much Teresa... I downloaded the zip file you had put on here way back when, but if you've updated it, I'd love to see it!

Tersea - thanks for all your posts! I'm new and my hostess packets are set up similar to your but not nearly that much info! Many Thanks!!!

Great booklet idea! When I am busier with shows, something I would LOVE to look into... right now it's all friends/family who doesn't do half of what I say anyways lol. Still trying for out of my circle peeps, so this would be awesome. I made a bingo (similar to the 5 for 5 challenge) and incentives so I'd love to put one of those books together!

What essential items should I always have in my bag for outdoor adventures?

For outdoor adventures, it's important to pack essentials such as a water bottle, snacks, a first aid kit, a map or GPS device, sunscreen, and a multi-tool. Depending on the length of your adventure, you may also want to include a flashlight, extra clothing layers, and a portable phone charger.

How can I organize my bag for easy access to essential items?

To organize your bag effectively, use packing cubes or pouches to separate items by category, such as food, first aid, and electronics. Keep frequently used items in outer pockets for easy access, and consider using a checklist to ensure you have everything you need before you head out.

Are there specific items I should include for a day trip versus a longer adventure?

Yes, for a day trip, you might only need basic items like water, snacks, and a first aid kit. For longer adventures, include additional items such as a sleeping bag, cooking gear, more food, and a more comprehensive first aid kit. Always tailor your packing to the duration and nature of your adventure.

What are some must-have tech gadgets to include in my adventure bag?

Must-have tech gadgets can include a portable charger, a GPS device or smartphone with navigation apps, a camera for capturing memories, and a headlamp or flashlight. Additionally, consider a solar charger if you’ll be away from power sources for an extended period.

How do I choose the right bag for my adventures?

When choosing the right bag, consider the length and type of your adventure. For day hikes, a daypack with a capacity of 15-30 liters is usually sufficient. For overnight trips, look for a backpack with a capacity of 40-70 liters that includes features like hydration reservoir compatibility, multiple compartments, and comfortable straps.
