This is something that I have learned to do since I started selling PC. I never used to write my goals down at all, and I have seen a huge difference since I started doing this. Yesterday I sat down and wrote my 2007 Goals for personal and biz.
I wrote these in my new journal, so I can see them everyday, along w/ a new budget, and because I am bad a cleaning schedule that I am trying to stick to.

GOALS:
~Update Website Monthly (used to do really well, then forgot about it)
~monthly newsletters to customers
~Help my recruits as much as possible and then some
~Recruit 10 this year & Qualify all 10
~Buy a new lap top by my b-day (march 18th)
~become director ASAP or by July 1st so I can walk in wave 3
~Earn level 2 trip or even 3
~increase my show average to a steady $600 +
~increase my bookings at each show
~look at my show and make changes
~make CC calls ( I have a hard time doing, that darn phone)

~earn a minimum of $600 a month
~organize office and keep organized
~figure out where to store all of my toys

Okay I just listened to a recorded tele class about planning for your golden treasures trip. I go back and listen to tele classes or relisten because I always seem to miss something, or something doesn't stick, & it always remotivates me to get my butt moving. A mini conference!!So one of her tips was to break your goals into monthly goals, & reward yourself along the way. For instance you can go out to dinner because you are at a certain point level by a certain date. So I have a sticky on my wall w/ REWARD YOURSELF ALONG THE WAY! I think we forget as lacy pointed out that it takes baby steps to get where we want to go. Nothing will fall in our laps we need to work on it, and for it.Just some more blabbering!

*Earn TPC in TWO categories
*Get my new recruits qualified
*Recruit & qualify 10 more people before July

  • #16
...and to switch from doing two recipes to doing one...

  • #17

Okay Gil, I need to add that to my list I want to start getting her cd's but the cash is not there yet. Although I get to go see her next week in Sac, and my exec dir says that it's all new stuff so it won't be the exact same stuff she talked about at conference (which would still be fine). Sometimes it takes a few times for things to stick!!

1. Why is it important to write down goals?

Writing down goals helps to clarify and solidify them in your mind. It also serves as a constant reminder of what you are working towards and can provide motivation and focus. Additionally, writing down goals allows you to track your progress and make adjustments as needed.

2. How often should I update my goals?

It is recommended to review and update your goals on a regular basis, such as monthly or quarterly. This allows you to assess your progress and make any necessary changes or additions to your goals.

3. How can I stay organized and on track with my goals?

One way to stay organized and on track with your goals is to use a planner or journal to write them down and keep them in a visible place. Setting specific deadlines and breaking down larger goals into smaller, manageable tasks can also help you stay on track.

4. What are some tips for achieving my goals?

Some tips for achieving your goals include setting specific and measurable goals, creating a plan of action, staying motivated and focused, tracking your progress, and seeking support and guidance from others.

5. How can I overcome challenges or setbacks in achieving my goals?

Facing challenges and setbacks is inevitable when working towards any goal. It's important to stay resilient and adapt to any obstacles that may arise. This can include seeking help or advice from others, revisiting and adjusting your plan of action, and staying positive and determined. Remember that setbacks are a part of the journey and can ultimately make you stronger and more determined to reach your goals.
