This may seem like a stupid question, but what do you use this knife for?

You can use it in nonstick cookware. It is fabulous for cutting things like lettuce - no oxidation. And, it is a bit safer for kids to use - it is quite sharp, though.

It's supposed to be for lettuce. (Scientifically metal touching the cut edges makes it turn brown faster.) I've also had great luck using my pink HWC one for cuttting sticky brownies and baked goods. Things don't seem to stick to it as much.

I sold the pink ones last year to the teachers at our school. They liked that it could cut and it was safe to have in the classroom.

i ditto the brownies and other "bar type" desserts in stones. works great! i don't really like to use a regular knife on these and have found my hwc knife works great!
