Ok, I am doing a show (basically demo-less) for my mom's group. There are two of us putting this together, basically a PC and skin care products show, we are doing a spa night with eats!

My question is do you have some good suggestions for recipes that are quick, fairly in-expensive, and easy to transport. I've decided to do the brownies, avocado-salsa cups, mini-pesto pizzas- but thought i could do a little more. I just love all the recipes in the F/W SB (as you can tell) but didnt know if you have some other suggestion as seasoned consultants.

Thanks for your help!!

So excited!

How about a beverage? The Cran-Raspberry Fizz (and the lime variation) in the SBRC is really good. And you can add some liquor to it, if it's a group you feel comfortable having adult beverages with. :)

I had my first Chocolate Bliss show last night......the host(one of my best friends) went all out chocolate wise - bought all kinds of chocolate candies, etc.......and had them all sitting around in SA pieces. She made the cool & creamy chocolate fondue, and I demoed the Chocolate Raspberry Trifle.BUT THE BIG HIT OF THE EVENING were the Brownie Truffle Bites! I made them earlier in the day, and before guests arrived, I put a swirl of cool whip on each one (using the EAD) and sprinkled them with the Caramel Sprinkles.......the 9 people in attendance ate all 24, and would have eaten more if there had been any!

Frequently Asked Questions

What are some quick appetizers I can make for a Pampered Chef mom's night out event?

Some quick appetizers include Caprese skewers with cherry tomatoes, mozzarella balls, and fresh basil drizzled with balsamic glaze. You can also prepare a simple cheese and charcuterie board with assorted cheeses, cured meats, nuts, and fruits for a visually appealing and easy-to-assemble option.

Can I prepare a dessert quickly for the event?

Absolutely! One quick dessert option is to make mini fruit tarts using pre-made pastry shells filled with vanilla pudding or cream cheese and topped with fresh fruit. Another easy choice is to whip up a no-bake chocolate mousse using just a few ingredients like chocolate, cream, and sugar.

What main dish can I prepare that is easy to serve?

A great main dish for a mom's night out is a taco bar. You can prepare seasoned ground beef or shredded chicken in advance and set up a buffet with tortillas, toppings like lettuce, cheese, salsa, and guacamole. This allows guests to customize their tacos easily.

Are there any Pampered Chef tools that can help with quick meal prep?

Yes! The Pampered Chef Quick Slice tool is perfect for slicing fruits and vegetables quickly, while the Micro-Cooker can be used to steam veggies or cook rice in the microwave in just minutes. Additionally, the Mix 'N Chop is great for breaking up ground meat while cooking.

How can I make drinks easy for the event?

For easy drinks, consider setting up a self-serve beverage station with a signature cocktail or mocktail. You can prepare a large batch of a refreshing drink like a fruit-infused water or a simple sangria in advance, allowing guests to serve themselves throughout the evening.
