ChefParty4U said:for a demo, talk about the quick stif pitcher and formula. They can make all the formula they need for the day in the morning in the pitcher(which they can keep in the fridge up to 24 hours), give it a quick plunge every time they pour a new bottle. Talk about how they waste less formula this way, because you can pour a bit at a time, since once the baby drinks from the bottle, you have to pitch the leftovers. And it saves time
non pc games...
-melt different candy bars in a diaper in the microwave, make the guests guess what kind of candy bar it is(really funny)
-peel the labels off of baby food jars and place a number on top, have the guest guess their flavor without opening the jars
-everyone's favorite but the mommy to be- estimate the belly size of the mommy to be with toilet paper, have each guest test their piece around the belly (i know it would be easier to just count squares, but letting everyone test their piece gives them face and belly time with the mommy to be, cuz we all want to touch it, and this makes it less ackward)
My sister's baby shower is in june, but she won't let us do any stuff like this, we're bummed
Unique themes can make a baby shower memorable. Consider themes like "Storybook Adventure," where guests come dressed as their favorite storybook characters, or "Under the Sea," featuring ocean-inspired decorations and games. Other ideas include "Vintage Tea Party," "Safari Adventure," or "Little Prince/Princess" for a royal touch.
Games can add excitement to a baby shower. Popular options include "Baby Bingo," where guests mark off items on their cards as gifts are opened, and "Guess the Baby Food," where participants taste different baby food flavors and guess what they are. Other fun games include "Diaper Raffle," "Baby Shower Trivia," and "The Price is Right: Baby Edition."
DIY elements can personalize the baby shower experience. Consider creating handmade invitations, centerpieces, or party favors. You can set up a DIY onesie station where guests can decorate onesies with fabric markers or iron-on designs. Additionally, a photo booth with DIY props can provide fun memories for guests.
Creative food ideas can enhance the theme of the baby shower. Consider serving "baby" themed foods like mini sliders, fruit skewers shaped like baby bottles, or cupcakes decorated with baby-themed toppers. A "diaper cake" made from rolled-up diapers and adorned with treats can also be a fun centerpiece that doubles as a gift.
To make a baby shower more interactive, incorporate activities that encourage guest participation. Set up a "wishing tree" where guests can write advice or wishes for the parents-to-be. You can also organize a group craft, like making a scrapbook page for the baby, or have a "guess the baby photo" game where guests bring their baby pictures for others to guess.
