I am doing my first Valentine's day theme show and I would love some ideas for recipes. I found the black forest trifle and chocolate cherry skillet cake recipes on Consultant's Corner, but would like some more options. I heard about a chocolate cake made in the DCB or a lava cake. Could anyone add some recipes that you have used in the past? Thank you very much!:balloon:

Feriale Yan's chocolate truffle recipe....Boil 1 half pint of heavy cream. As soon as it comes to a boil, drop in a full 12oz bag of semisweet chocolate chips. Stir until smooth. Warm? - chocolate fondue. Tepid? -frosting. Cold? -small scoop for truffle insides- put on bakers rack, drizzle with different colors of melted chocolate, let harden, serve. other toppings: food chopper chopped nuts; cocoa; some cocoa and chocolate hazlenut sprinkles.Cherry Chocolate Mousse Pie - see Theme Show Archives way down at the bottom - something like 2004 "easy as pie" show. Awesome, yummy, showy.

i went to the PC website (didn't sign in as a consultant) and did a recipe search for chocolate and found TONS of recipes...for some reason, when i search for a recipe when i'm on the consultant sight, i can't view as many...

Thank you!

I am also looking for Valentine's ideas, but specifically a main dish that would seem somewhat "fancy." Any ideas?

I like the mini chocolate tuxedo cakes. YUM and easy to make. The strawberries on top with give you the red and they look like hearts!

Frequently Asked Questions

What are some easy appetizers for a Valentine's Day themed show?

For a Valentine's Day themed show, consider serving heart-shaped caprese skewers with cherry tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and basil drizzled with balsamic glaze. Another great option is stuffed mushrooms filled with cream cheese, herbs, and breadcrumbs. These appetizers are not only delicious but also visually appealing for the occasion.

Can you suggest a romantic dessert recipe for my show?

A perfect romantic dessert for your show is chocolate-covered strawberries. Simply dip fresh strawberries in melted chocolate and let them cool until the chocolate hardens. You can also create a heart-shaped chocolate cake with raspberry filling and top it with whipped cream for an elegant touch.

What main dish would be suitable for a Valentine's Day dinner?

A great main dish for a Valentine's Day dinner is a creamy garlic Tuscan chicken. This dish features tender chicken breasts cooked in a rich sauce with spinach and sun-dried tomatoes. Serve it with a side of garlic mashed potatoes or a fresh salad for a complete meal that impresses.

Are there any fun drink recipes to serve at my Valentine's Day show?

Absolutely! You can serve a delightful strawberry basil lemonade by blending fresh strawberries with lemonade and adding basil for a refreshing twist. For an adult option, consider a sparkling rosé sangria made with rosé wine, fresh fruit, and a splash of soda for a festive touch.

How can I incorporate Pampered Chef products into my Valentine's Day recipes?

Utilize Pampered Chef products to enhance your cooking experience. For example, use the Mix 'N Chop to easily prepare your stuffed mushrooms or the Food Chopper for quick dicing of ingredients. The Stoneware can be perfect for baking your heart-shaped cake evenly, while the Classic Batter Bowl is ideal for mixing your dessert ingredients. Showcasing these tools can also encourage guests to consider purchasing them for their own kitchens.
