Does anyone have any experience doing/running/facilitating a webinar? Could you give me some ideas/tips/thoughts? :D

Well, I haven't done a webinar but I have done SKYPE and I just got an email from them that we can go video for free if we want, thinking of trying it.....Julie Jones does webinars all the time.

I used to facilitate webinars when I worked for AIG. We did trying from our agents and they were a huge success. how are you planning yours?

I already signed up for Freebinar.com but my day has gotten away from me and I won't get to play around with it and see how it works. Maybe tomorrow after Spring Launch...

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the key elements to include in a successful webinar presentation?

Successful webinars should include a clear agenda, engaging visuals, interactive elements (like polls or Q&A sessions), and a strong call to action. It's important to keep the content focused and relevant to the audience's interests.

How can I effectively engage my audience during a webinar?

Engagement can be enhanced by asking questions throughout the presentation, encouraging participants to share their thoughts in the chat, and using interactive tools like polls or quizzes. Additionally, addressing audience members by name can create a more personal connection.

What are some tips for managing technical issues during a webinar?

To manage technical issues, always test your equipment and software before the webinar starts. Have a backup plan, such as a secondary device or platform, ready to go. It's also helpful to have a co-host who can assist with technical difficulties while you focus on presenting.

How long should a webinar typically last?

Most webinars last between 30 to 60 minutes. This timeframe is generally long enough to cover the material without losing the audience's attention. It's important to leave time for questions at the end to encourage interaction and feedback.

What follow-up strategies should I use after the webinar?

After the webinar, send a thank-you email to participants, including a recording of the session and any additional resources mentioned. Consider soliciting feedback through a survey to improve future webinars and keep the conversation going by inviting them to upcoming events or offering exclusive promotions.
