it was a flyer for a bunch of them - garlic, apple cinnamon, caramel pecan are the ones that come to mind. but i know i've seen a lot like this.

Personal preferenceI think this is more of a personal preference kind of thing. For the garlic pull aparts, I use 1/2 stick (4 tbsp.) per can of biscuits. I started off using a whole stick, and absolutely LOVED them, but then again, that's why I'm a hundred pounds over weight!

Definitely play with the recipe...One tip if you are using more butter...make sure you let the pan sit for 5 or 10 minutes before flipping so the biscuits can finish soaking up the butter...otherwise, WHAT A MESS!

I have made several kinds of these and I always use 1/2 cup of butter.

I have used the full stick and just drizzle the extra on top. When I cut it back, they seem to burn on the bottom.

YEAH BABY ~~ Me TOO!!! :D  :D I like using a whole stick and have not had any problems with them??

I really do not care for the carmel ones - they seem to come out gooey no matter how much butter you use...

It is certainly a matter of choice...

i LOVE butter which is why i was so surprised when it didn't seem to work right with the full amount. i found the product use and care card which i think is where i found the lesser amount mentioned. my director even made it with a little less butter so i assumed she knew best :-) when i cooked it i found it didn't cook completely on the inside - maybe i'll try one more time as it seems so many people like it that way :)

What product use & care card did you find them on?

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do if I notice a wrong butter amount in a Pampered Chef recipe?

If you notice a wrong butter amount in a Pampered Chef recipe, first check the recipe's source to confirm the error. If it is indeed incorrect, adjust the butter amount based on similar recipes or your personal preference. You can also reach out to your Pampered Chef consultant or customer service for clarification.

How can I adjust a recipe if I used too much or too little butter?

If you've used too much butter, you can balance the recipe by adding more dry ingredients, such as flour or sugar, to maintain the right consistency. If you used too little butter, consider adding a small amount gradually until you reach the desired texture. Be cautious not to overdo it, as this can affect the flavor and consistency.

Are there any common signs that I used the wrong amount of butter in a recipe?

Common signs of incorrect butter amounts include a greasy texture, overly rich flavor, or a dense and heavy final product. If your baked goods spread too much or fail to rise, it may also indicate an issue with the butter measurement.

Can I substitute butter with another ingredient if the amount is wrong?

Yes, you can substitute butter with alternatives like margarine, coconut oil, or applesauce, depending on the recipe. Keep in mind that substitutions may alter the flavor and texture, so adjust the amounts accordingly and test the results.

Where can I find reliable Pampered Chef recipes to avoid butter measurement errors?

To find reliable Pampered Chef recipes, visit the official Pampered Chef website, where you can access a variety of tested recipes. Additionally, consider joining Pampered Chef cooking groups on social media or consulting with your Pampered Chef consultant for recommendations on trusted recipes.
