I have a customer who's daughter broke the small plate that goes with the spoon rest. I went to do a replacement parts order and can't find it on the list. Does anyone have a suggestion on what I can do to help her out?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

How long has she had it? If it is within warranty, you could try and do an adjustment. Otherwise, she will need to order a new one.

Look at the Marketplace section on this website. Someone may have an extra. There's also a Yahoo group dedicated to this sort of thing. PM me for more information.

Does a petite square fit in there? It obivously wouldn't fit "perfectly," but maybe it would work??

Unfortunately they are not warrantied for breakage.

I have sent the suggestion in to add that to the replacements list - the more people who also send in that suggestion the more likely they'll add it....

One of the dipping bowls from the oil dipping set will fit. I have used one f them for a change.

Thanks. I'll check the marketplace. If not, does anyone know if the dipping bowls for the dipping set are on the replacement order form? Mine is at home.

Yes, one dipping dish can be bought on the replacement parts order for $8 - but isn't the spoon rest $10?

Yep. Spoon rest is $10.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do if my spoon rest plate is broken?

If your spoon rest plate is broken, you can start by checking if it is still under warranty. If it is, contact Pampered Chef customer service for a replacement. If not, you may need to purchase a new one from their catalog or website.

How can I safely dispose of a broken spoon rest plate?

To safely dispose of a broken spoon rest plate, wrap the broken pieces in newspaper or a plastic bag to prevent injury. Place it in your regular trash bin. If the plate is made of ceramic or glass, check if your local recycling program accepts these materials.

Can I repair a broken spoon rest plate instead of replacing it?

While some minor chips can be repaired using food-safe adhesive, it is generally not recommended to repair a broken spoon rest plate, especially if it has significant damage. A replacement is often safer and ensures that you have a functional and hygienic item.

Where can I find a replacement spoon rest plate?

You can find a replacement spoon rest plate on the Pampered Chef website, through a Pampered Chef consultant, or at Pampered Chef parties. Check the current catalog for available designs and options.

Are there any tips for maintaining my spoon rest plate to prevent breakage?

To maintain your spoon rest plate and prevent breakage, avoid dropping it or placing it in high-stress areas. Clean it gently with non-abrasive materials, and avoid exposing it to extreme temperature changes. Always handle it with care during use and cleaning.
