So, I went to edit my April newsletter in iContact (and I've tried all three browsers I have on my computer....Safari, Chrome, and Firefox...Firefox is the one that I usually use with the old editor with no problem) and I just get the html code, which doesn't really help me a bunch. )-: Anyone else having issues?

Nevermind....it's working now. Must have been a glitch.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do if my HTML code is not displaying correctly in the iContact editor?

If your HTML code is not displaying correctly, first ensure that you have copied the entire code without any missing tags. Check for any unclosed tags or syntax errors. You can also try pasting the code into a plain text editor to remove any hidden formatting before pasting it back into iContact.

How can I troubleshoot images not appearing in my iContact HTML email?

Make sure that the image URLs are correct and accessible. If you're using images hosted on your own server, ensure that the server is up and running. Additionally, check that the image links are absolute URLs (including http:// or https://) and not relative links.

What should I do if my newsletter layout looks different in the preview versus the final email?

This discrepancy can occur due to how different email clients render HTML. To troubleshoot, test your email in multiple email clients (like Gmail, Outlook, etc.) and devices. Simplifying your HTML and using inline CSS can help maintain consistency across platforms.

Why are my links not clickable in the iContact HTML email?

Ensure that your links are correctly formatted with the tag and that the href attribute is properly set. If the links are still not clickable, check if there are any CSS styles or HTML elements that might be overlapping or covering the links.

How can I fix formatting issues in my iContact HTML newsletter?

To fix formatting issues, review your HTML code for any missing or incorrect tags. Use inline styles instead of external stylesheets, as many email clients do not support them. Additionally, consider using a simple layout and avoiding complex structures that may not render well in all email clients.
