Hi!!

I did a show yesterday.....and as everyone was talking about their favorite/not so favorite PC items....it occurred to us that what one person didn't like...another did....

Have an of you held a show with a separate "Swap Meet"? As a separate part of a show....to have guests bring a PC item they don't use....and swap it another guest? Totally separate from placing orders for new items, and it would cancel out all warranties...

Have you done this??

I wouldn't do that at a show. What if they swap for something that they would have bought. And, they also don't have a warranty.

I see your point...but I have to agree with Linda. I think it would affect the sales of the show.

Many times when someone doesn't like/use their item much, I find out that they are using it incorrectly, or that they never understood how to work it...so they never used it to begin with! So, in those cases, I can usually talk to them and help them so they understand and use their item!

Good point!!! Better to buy from me than swap it for free!

Hi there!

I'm so glad to hear that you had a show yesterday and that everyone was sharing their thoughts on their favorite and not-so-favorite PC items. It's always interesting to see how opinions can differ so much! I haven't personally held a separate "Swap Meet" at my shows, but I think it's a great idea! It's a fun and unique way for guests to interact and potentially try out new PC items that they may not have considered before. However, I would just make sure to remind guests that swapping items would cancel out any warranties, as you mentioned. Overall, I think it's a fun addition to a show and I may have to try it out myself! Thanks for the suggestion! Have a great day!
