This is a vent --- I am SO Frustrated right now!!!!!

I returned 2 products six weeks ago for a friend of mine in exchange for another 2 products with a difference of $8 that she would have to pay. When I called they told me that since she paid with a credit card, they would simply charge the balance to her card and it would be sent out.

Yeah... that's not how it works anymore and the lady at HO scolded me for not doing it right. We need to re-provide ALL of our customer's credit card info to HO for exchanges and refunds. Grrr... now I have to call a few customers back and ask them for their credit card numbers!

I'm just frustrated because it's been sitting there and first, I got incorrect info from HO in the first place, second, no one from HO let me know WHY it's sitting there and third, I look like an idiot to my customers.

Okay... vent over. I could have done without the lady scolding me first thing this morning.

Yeah, the scolding is like rubbing salt in the wound. Not professional AT ALL.

I think what bothered me the most (and I forgot to put that in my first post) was that when I said that I wasn't told that I needed to provide the credit card number for the $8 difference, she said, "Well you can always pay for it yourself and have her pay you." That just rubbed me the wrong way.
