That's my question. :)

I have a show tonight. I'm debating whether or not to take any of the new products. I don't want to sabatoge my host's sales, but I also want to create the desire to have a show in the future. Know what I mean?

I'd bring them along. I took them to a show I had two weeks ago, and booked two shows because guests wanted the new items in the future. Just bring a sampling to create interest, and don't demo them... maybe just set up a little display and point it out at the end of your show.I think the only lost sale I had was that one guest wanted to wait and buy the cranberry Easy Scraper rather than the white... no big loss!

I take the Forged Chef's knife to show the recruiting special and to show the high quality of the new products coming out. I also have a list of products that will be gone forever at the end of the month. "This is your last chance to get it at Suzy's party, so make sure you get what you want!" type of thing. HTH

I would take them to entice bookings but during the show stress on the discontinued products to boost your sales now. You know, like Kate said!

I agree. I am currently taking a discontinued products flyer, and a mini catalog to my shows. I would take the new products if I had them. I can't wait to get the $100 in free product I won through my cluster.
