I've got a really great wmv file that I'd love to share with you all - since I can't attach it here, how do I do it? It's 6mb.

You can put video files up on photobucket.com and I suspect there are other vendor places you could place it.

If I can't find a way to share then I will

Thanks. I don't want to create a lot of work for you so I will wait.

I thought it was one you had created. My bad. I would have suggested that you look for it on YouTube had I known. ;)

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a WMV file and why is it important to know how to share it?

A WMV (Windows Media Video) file is a video format developed by Microsoft that is commonly used for streaming and sharing video content. Knowing how to share a WMV file effectively is important because it ensures that your audience can access and view the content without issues, especially if the file size is large, like 6MB.

What are some effective methods to share a 6MB WMV file?

There are several effective methods to share a 6MB WMV file, including using cloud storage services like Google Drive or Dropbox, sending it via email (if the email service allows attachments of that size), or using file transfer services like WeTransfer. Each method has its own advantages, so choose one that fits your needs best.

How can I compress a WMV file to make it easier to share?

You can compress a WMV file using video editing software or online compression tools. Look for options that allow you to reduce the file size while maintaining acceptable video quality. Adjusting the resolution, bitrate, and frame rate can also help in compressing the file effectively.

Are there any limitations when sharing a 6MB WMV file via email?

Yes, many email providers have attachment size limits, typically ranging from 10MB to 25MB. If your WMV file is 6MB, it should generally be acceptable, but it's always a good idea to check the specific limits of your email service. Additionally, some email clients may not support WMV files, so consider converting it to a more universally accepted format if necessary.

What should I do if the recipient cannot open the WMV file?

If the recipient cannot open the WMV file, first ensure they have the necessary software to play WMV files, such as Windows Media Player or VLC Media Player. If they still have issues, consider converting the file to a more compatible format like MP4 or MOV, which are widely supported across different devices and platforms.
