Well it went o.k. - Not as great as the last one. I will get a leads list in two week. Probably will book a show or two. One possible recruit that is studying culinary arts.

Possible bridal shower or show for a person renewing their vows??? This should be interesting but she and her family seem like sweeties so I hope that works out. I have to start doing follow ups to see if this one works out as I hope.

...not a bad idea on the renewing vows...I always joked with family and friends that at 10 or 20 years of marriage you need to have another wedding shower to replace all the broken dishes, worn out towels, etc., from when you got married - or to just change the color of your kitchen! LOL! (Glad I chose plain white plates for my kitchen - I just change the table linens when bored).

I am very excited. I got a call last night from a realtor. She is the mother of a bride from the show I did in January. Wants to get her daughter registered and also wants to purchase a gift for a client. Her daugher is getting married in the new few months. Her first shower is in late March. I love getting calls like that

It would be great if you could get the realtor to purchase housewarming gifts for her clients. A basket of seasonings (with your label on them of course) or the Celebrate Plate.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is "Not as Great as Last Time: Follow Ups for Possible Show"?

"Not as Great as Last Time: Follow Ups for Possible Show" refers to a strategy used in direct sales, particularly within Pampered Chef, to reconnect with potential hosts or customers who may not have had a successful experience in the past. The goal is to address any concerns, gather feedback, and encourage them to consider hosting a show again.

How can I effectively follow up with someone who had a less successful show?

When following up, it's important to be empathetic and understanding. Start by acknowledging their previous experience and ask for their feedback. Use open-ended questions to encourage dialogue, and offer solutions or new ideas that could make their next show more enjoyable and successful.

What should I say in my follow-up message?

Your follow-up message should be friendly and supportive. You might say something like, "Hi [Name], I hope you're doing well! I wanted to check in and see how you felt about your last show. I’d love to hear your thoughts and see if there’s anything I can do to help make your next experience even better!"

How often should I follow up with potential hosts?

It's best to follow up within a week or two after their last show to keep the conversation fresh. After that, you can check in every couple of months. Be mindful not to overwhelm them; gauge their interest and adjust your frequency based on their responses.

What if they are not interested in hosting again?

If they express disinterest, respect their decision and thank them for their honesty. You can still keep the relationship positive by inviting them to future events or sharing new products. This way, you maintain the connection and leave the door open for future opportunities.
