I am still fairly new and I am doing my first Festival on Saturday. Any suggestions or good tips? I have order slips, catalogs, drawing prize slips, recruiting information and a flier w/lots of good info and a free recipe. Anything I am forgetting? Any help or suggestions are much appreciated.

I just set up my first on for june 1st would also love imput!

Have resonable expectations. I don't know the cost of the booth, but I usually am happy with one real booking. Most people don't book at the booth. Keep calling the Yes's and Maybe's once each month. Sometimes it takes a full year for them to book.

Most important is to call your leads within 24 hours.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I bring to my first festival as a Pampered Chef consultant?

For your first festival, it's essential to bring a variety of Pampered Chef products that showcase your offerings. Include a selection of popular items, cooking tools, and recipe cards. Don't forget essentials like a tablecloth, signage, business cards, and a cash box or mobile payment system. Also, consider bringing samples of food prepared with your products to attract customers.

How can I effectively set up my booth to attract customers?

To attract customers, create an inviting and organized booth. Use a colorful tablecloth and display your products clearly. Arrange items at different heights to create visual interest, and ensure that your booth is well-lit. Incorporate a demonstration area where you can showcase cooking techniques or recipes. Engaging displays and a friendly demeanor will draw people in.

What promotional materials should I have on hand?

Having promotional materials is crucial for your first festival. Prepare flyers or brochures that highlight your products and any special offers. Business cards are essential for networking, and you might also consider having a sign-up sheet for a newsletter or future promotions. Samples or small giveaways can also encourage people to stop by your booth.

How do I handle customer inquiries and sales during the festival?

Be prepared to answer questions about the products, their uses, and pricing. Practice your pitch beforehand so you can confidently explain the benefits of each item. When making sales, be friendly and approachable, and always thank customers for their interest. If you don’t know the answer to a question, it’s okay to say you’ll follow up later. Make sure to have a system in place for processing payments efficiently.

What are some tips for following up with leads after the festival?

After the festival, follow up with leads promptly. Send a thank-you email to anyone who visited your booth, and include a special offer or discount for their first purchase. If you collected contact information, reach out to those individuals with personalized messages. Keep the communication friendly and informative, and consider sharing recipes or tips related to the products they showed interest in.
