Hello! I have my first recruit that is ready to sign! YAY ME!! Sorry- I have worked so hard with this one- anyways- I also have 4 more people that are interested so I wanted to start out right! Does anyone have any recomendations on training, etc? When I first started, I wanted to read any and everything I could to learn about PC- and it paid off! But I wanted to put together some sort of small packet with information that I had to find on my own! Any ideas? Also, is there any information that you as the recruiter use to train them correctly? I want to start off on the right foot! Any ideas are welcomed! Thanks so much! Honestly, I learned almost everything that I know off of here! I joined here as soon as I got my consultant number and was SO EXCITED!!! Thanks again!

Compleetely agree! Listen to the mp3 from last year's conference "Promote leaders pronto!" as well.

Congratulations!

Congrats. Definitely use the Guide to Supporting New Consultants....it has it all laid out for you. There's also a couple of forms here that are useful....look for Scott's new consultant training....lots of useful info and you can edit to meet your needs.

If you type in new consultant in the files, lots of stuff will appear. Be very selective in what you give them. You want them to spend their time reading the biz guide and training. You also do not want to overwhelm them.

Congrats and Much Luck!

Frequently Asked Questions

What should be included in a New Consultant Training Packet?

A comprehensive New Consultant Training Packet should include an overview of the Pampered Chef business model, product catalogs, training materials on sales techniques, tips for hosting parties, and information on how to set up an online presence. Additionally, including motivational resources and contact information for support can be very helpful.

How can I make the training packet more engaging for new consultants?

To make the training packet more engaging, consider incorporating interactive elements such as quizzes, checklists, and goal-setting worksheets. Including personal success stories or testimonials from experienced consultants can also inspire new team members. Visual aids like infographics or videos can enhance understanding and retention.

Should I include product samples in the training packet?

Yes, including product samples can be very beneficial. It allows new consultants to familiarize themselves with the products they will be selling, which can boost their confidence during demonstrations. If physical samples are not feasible, consider providing links to product videos or virtual demos.

How often should I update the training packet?

It's a good practice to review and update the training packet at least once a year or whenever there are significant changes in products, policies, or training techniques. Keeping the content fresh ensures that new consultants have the most current information and resources available to them.

What resources can I recommend for ongoing training after the initial packet?

For ongoing training, recommend resources such as online webinars, local consultant meet-ups, and access to a private Facebook group or forum where consultants can share tips and ask questions. Additionally, encourage them to read books on sales and personal development to further enhance their skills.
