If anyone has any Recruiting Activities that they or their upline Directors have used at Cluster Meetings, could you please share?

We are looking for something to do in pairs or as a group at our Meeting TONIGHT!

Thanks soooo much in advance, you are all AWESOME!

At almost every meeting, our directors have up break up into groups and come up with various things...

For recruiting, they would probably have us brainstorm about types of people to recruit over the summer, why they should start their business now and "catch phrases" to use to get them hooked. Then we would gather back as a whole group and each of the smaller groups would share what they came up with...

For example...
Teachers because most of them have extra time right now and can focus more on the business. They can also start earning extra money to buy things for their classrooms for the fall and have enough time to talk with their PTA/PTO/etc. rep to get a PC fundraiser in for the next school year. I'm drawing a blank on catch phrases right now, but that is the whole purpose of the exercise.

Our directors also give $20 gift cards (for Panera or Starbucks) to people who bring guests (either potential recruits or new recruits if this is their first meeting). We have LOTS of new people at our meetings now.

We also recognize (by having them stand and everyone else claps and cheers) anyone who has shared the business with anyone during the previous month - regardless of whether they signed anyone or not... the idea is just to get people to share. They also ask if anyone went outside their personal comfort zone when sharing (for me that would be something like approaching someone in the grocery store, etc.) and ask them to share about the experience - good? bad? would you do it again? what did you say? etc.

There is another thread with a similar topic going right now... hopefully this link works...

Hi there! I highly recommend doing a "speed networking" activity at your cluster meeting. It's a fun and interactive way for everyone to get to know each other and potentially find new recruits. Here's how it works: Have everyone pair up and give them a set amount of time (maybe 2-3 minutes) to introduce themselves, share a bit about their Mary Kay journey, and exchange contact information. Then, have one person in each pair rotate to the next person and repeat the process. Keep rotating until everyone has had a chance to meet each other. This activity not only allows for potential recruits to get to know each other, but it also gives everyone the opportunity to practice their elevator pitch and refine their networking skills. Plus, it's a great way for everyone to feel included and connected at the meeting.Hope this helps and good luck with your cluster meeting tonight! You got this!

Frequently Asked Questions

What are some effective ways to recruit new team members during our meetings?

One effective way to recruit during meetings is to share personal success stories that highlight the benefits of joining your team. Additionally, consider hosting a fun and interactive session where attendees can experience the products firsthand. Incorporating a Q&A segment can also help address any concerns potential recruits may have.

How can we create an inviting atmosphere for potential recruits at our meetings?

To create an inviting atmosphere, ensure that your meeting space is warm and welcoming. Use engaging visuals, such as product displays and success stories, and offer refreshments. Encourage current team members to share their positive experiences and make newcomers feel included by assigning them a buddy for the event.

What materials should we prepare to support our recruiting efforts during meetings?

Prepare brochures or flyers that outline the benefits of joining your team, including potential earnings and personal growth opportunities. Consider having business cards, product samples, and a sign-up sheet readily available. Additionally, a presentation or slideshow showcasing success stories and team culture can be very effective.

How can we incorporate social media into our recruiting strategy during meetings?

Encourage attendees to share their experiences on social media during the meeting by using a specific hashtag. You can also create a live stream of the meeting for those who cannot attend in person. Highlighting social media success stories and testimonials can further engage potential recruits and showcase the community aspect of your team.

What follow-up strategies should we implement after the meeting to continue recruiting?

After the meeting, follow up with attendees via email or social media to thank them for coming and provide additional information about joining your team. Consider sending a personalized message that addresses any questions they had during the meeting. Offering a limited-time incentive for signing up can also encourage quick decisions.
