ChefBeckyD said:I posted this on the Inexpensive Recipes thread ~ this is basic, simple, and surprisingly refreshing. I've had many skeptics try it at shows, and then we end up having to make a 2nd pitcher of it, because they all like it so well!
Oh! For a great, inexpensive drink:
This may sound crazy, but I have been making Spa Water at my shows. It uses a cutting board, the UM, a knife, and the QSP.
1 seedless (sometimes called English) cucumber
1 lemon or lime
Water
I cut off a chunk of cucumber, and slice it in the UM (enough for about 8-10 slices)
then, I slice off the ends of the lemon, and slice it in the UM
Place it all in the family size QSP, fill with very cold water (and ice if you have it), plunge, and serve!
Consider serving infused water with fresh fruits and herbs, iced herbal teas, or sparkling lemonade. You can also create a signature mocktail using seasonal ingredients to impress your guests!
Use clear glass pitchers or jars to showcase colorful ingredients. Garnish drinks with fresh herbs, citrus slices, or edible flowers. Serving beverages in fun, themed glassware can also enhance the visual appeal.
Absolutely! Many beverages, like infused waters or iced teas, can be prepared a few hours ahead of time. Just make sure to store them in the refrigerator to keep them fresh until your show starts.
Offer a variety of non-alcoholic options such as flavored sparkling waters, fruit smoothies, and mocktails. This ensures that all guests, including those who prefer not to drink alcohol, have enjoyable choices.
Utilize Pampered Chef tools like the Quick Stir Pitcher for infused waters or the Deluxe Cooking Blender for smoothies. Showcasing these products during your QSP show can also encourage guests to consider purchasing them for their own use.
