Any one have any good recipes to share for the QSP? Does anyone else bring or demo a drink in their QS? I am looking for something REALLY simple that I would do before the Show started.....

TIA

How about the Cran-Raspberry Fizz?

4 limes, divided
1 can (12 ounces) frozen cranberry juice concentrate
3 cups cold water
1 pint raspberry sorbet, softened
2 liters (8 cups) chilled ginger ale

1. Slice two of the limes using Ultimate Mandoline fitted with v-shaped blade; set aside. Pour cranberry juice concentrate and water into Family-Size Quick-Stir(R) Pitcher.

2. Juice remaining limes into pitcher using Citrus Press. Scoop sorbet into pitcher using Ice Cream Dipper; plunge to combine. Add ginger ale and lime slices. Plunge gently until well mixed. Serve over ice.

Homemade lemonade is good.Slice 3-4 lemons with the v-shaped blade of the Ultimate Mandoline. Place slices in bottom of QSP. Add 3/4-1 cup of sugar (depending on how sweet you like it). Let it sit for about 10 minutes - the sugar will pull juice out of the lemon slices. Fill pitcher with water and plunge several times to mix.

I made pink lemonade in the FQSP for our cluster meeting on Monday. I am not a lemonade person but I liked this.

10 cups cold water, 3/4 cup sugar, 1 cup fresh squeeze lemon juice (4-5 lg. lemons), 1 10oz frozen can of STrawberry daiquiri mix thawed.

beverageGreat ideas! Thank you for sharing! :)

I like the cran-razz fizz or the lemon lime fizz from last SBRB.

I posted this on the Inexpensive Recipes thread ~ this is basic, simple, and surprisingly refreshing. I've had many skeptics try it at shows, and then we end up having to make a 2nd pitcher of it, because they all like it so well!

Oh! For a great, inexpensive drink:

This may sound crazy, but I have been making Spa Water at my shows. It uses a cutting board, the UM, a knife, and the QSP.

1 seedless (sometimes called English) cucumber
1 lemon or lime
Water

I cut off a chunk of cucumber, and slice it in the UM (enough for about 8-10 slices)
then, I slice off the ends of the lemon, and slice it in the UM

Place it all in the family size QSP, fill with very cold water (and ice if you have it), plunge, and serve!
