I am thinking of doing the scavenger hunt to increase my attendance at shows, what do you give as the gift for the hostess.
Do you find that you are giving way to many prizes away(game prize, door price, incentive prize, hostess prize)?
My hubby doesn't want me to go in the hole again this year.

I have been adding an extra $10. in free product. I just add it to her order, and get the discount she earned. That way she can pick what she wants. I have more than made up for it in increased attendace/ show average increased

Low attendanceNo one has addressed this part of your post yet. I would STRONGLY suggest to the host that it is not a good idea to have two consultants at one show presenting two different product lines. If she has a history of having low attendence, having two consultants would dilute sales even further. Let her know that if she wants to have a great show with either consultant, it would be best to keep them as separate shows.

You might also suggest to her (after you talk to her and figure out why her attendence is so low) that she co-host a show. Maybe find one of her really outgoing friends and see if they would pass out invitations or invite some other people.

Just some thoughts,
Jenny L

I agree...not good to combine showsI have to agree with Jenny. I did a party last September in conjunction with a Mary Kay consultant. 75 invitations were sent out and only one person came. Several people had committed to attending when reminder calls were made the week prior to the show. Everyone involved felt that people may have felt obligated to buy from Pampered Chef as well as Mary Kay so they opted not to come at all.

Hello! I think the scavenger hunt is a great idea to increase attendance at your shows. As for the hostess gift, it can vary depending on your budget and what your hostess would appreciate. Some popular options are kitchen gadgets, cookware, or even a gift certificate to your store.
In terms of giving away too many prizes, I suggest setting a budget for yourself and sticking to it. You can also consider having a mix of small and larger prizes to keep costs down. And don't forget, the ultimate prize for your hostess is earning free and discounted products based on her show's sales, so that can also be a great incentive for her to invite more guests.
I understand your husband's concern about going in the hole, but with thoughtful planning and budgeting, you can still have successful shows without breaking the bank. Best of luck!

How can I promote the scavenger hunt to increase attendance?

Utilize social media platforms, email newsletters, and personal invitations to generate excitement. Share sneak peeks of the scavenger hunt items and the hostess gifts to entice potential attendees. To make sure your hostess gifts resonate with your guests, consider their interests and preferences. Conduct a quick survey or ask your hostess for insights about her guests. Presentation can make a big difference! Use decorative bags or boxes that match the theme of the scavenger hunt.
