Hello everyone! My name is Jennifer and I am fairly new to PC (just completed my 30 days) and have a host that wants to have party in May for a business boost or public relations for people (offices) that buy her medical supplies. So instead of earning the free and discounted products herself she wants to raffle it off to her guests. She was asking how that would work and to be honest I am really not to sure on what to do. I asked about how many people there would be and she said about 10, so then I told her that she should get as many outside orders from family and friends to boost up the 'pot'. This is actually a friend who is doing this, so I would really like to make this work for her.

I have been reading alot on here and you all have such great advice, so I knew I had to come on here and ask what would you do in this situation.

Thanks for your help!!

You could probably do it like a Mystery Host show. So your friend would not be the host, whoever won would go under the host name!

I agree with you though,I would really have her talk about the 10 bringing friends, and even getting outside orders, and have your friend get lots of outside orders.

This could be fun!

Yeah the mystery host sounds like the best option. I am going to maybe talk to her about the possibility of the offices 'competing' for the highest number of sales per office and the winning office gets to stock their break room with the free and discounted items. Does this sound hokey?

What are everyones thoughts on this idea?? or

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the best types of prizes to offer in a raffle event?

When selecting prizes for your raffle event, consider items that are popular and relevant to your audience. Pampered Chef products, gift cards, or themed baskets that include cooking tools and ingredients are great options. Additionally, offering a mix of high-value and smaller prizes can attract more participants.

How can I promote my raffle event to increase participation?

Promote your raffle event through various channels such as social media, email newsletters, and during your Pampered Chef parties. Create eye-catching graphics and share details about the prizes and how the raffle works. Encourage your guests to invite friends and family to boost attendance and ticket sales.

What is the best way to sell raffle tickets during the event?

Set up a designated area for ticket sales where guests can easily purchase tickets. Use a simple pricing structure, such as one ticket for $5 or five tickets for $20, to encourage bulk purchases. Make sure to have a clear display of the prizes and a friendly team member available to assist with ticket sales.

How can I ensure that the raffle event runs smoothly?

To ensure a smooth raffle event, plan ahead by organizing all materials, including tickets, a drawing container, and a list of prizes. Assign roles to team members or volunteers to manage ticket sales, prize displays, and the drawing process. A clear timeline for the event will also help keep everything on track.

What should I do after the raffle event to maximize profits?

After the raffle event, follow up with participants to thank them for their support and announce the winners. This can be done through email or social media. Additionally, consider offering a limited-time promotion on Pampered Chef products to capitalize on the excitement generated by the event and encourage further sales.
