I'm almost at my 3rd month. I have been trying really hard to get bookings from my shows (including the booking slide). I mention the business opp and use that slide. I play about 2 games at a show let's make a deal, and raffle for questions. I'm dying to make the shows more fun and relaxed. I'm probably trying to hard. I think that if I could make the shows more fun I could get the bookings I'm after. Can any share what they do or give me some advice. Thanks!

Just going off the info you just gave...
How long does your demo last, shorter the better!
More importantly, find people in your cluster and go observe their shows. You will be amazed at what you can learn from that!
good luck!

Try to incorporate some of these into your show - humor makes laughter, releases endorphins!

Ditto on keep it short!

Thanks Scott for the document. it couldn't have come at a better time. My recruit had a myster host party Sat. night and since she never has been to a PC show but loves the products I helped her out and coached her the whole way. This is perfect because we all laughed a lot. :)

Scott, I love your one-liners. I need to use some of these, for sure! Especially people in your "fling zone".:chef:

I love the one liners. I always seem to make some kind of mess.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I create a fun atmosphere at my Pampered Chef shows?

To create a fun atmosphere, start by setting a welcoming tone. Use upbeat music, engage with guests as they arrive, and encourage mingling. Incorporate interactive elements like games or cooking challenges, and ensure everyone feels included. A light-hearted approach can make the experience enjoyable and memorable.

What types of games can I play during my shows?

Consider games like "Guess the Ingredient," where guests identify ingredients in a dish, or "Pampered Chef Bingo," featuring products or cooking terms. You can also host a trivia quiz about cooking or Pampered Chef products. These games not only entertain but also educate guests about the products.

How can I involve guests in the cooking process?

Invite guests to participate in the cooking demonstration by assigning them simple tasks, such as chopping vegetables or stirring a pot. This hands-on involvement makes the experience more engaging and allows guests to feel a connection to the products. Be sure to provide guidance and encouragement throughout the process.

What are some icebreaker activities I can use at the beginning of my show?

Start with a fun icebreaker like "Two Truths and a Lie," where guests share two true statements and one false about themselves. Alternatively, you can ask guests to share their favorite kitchen gadget or cooking tip. These activities help guests relax and get to know each other, setting a friendly tone for the show.

How can I ensure my guests feel comfortable and relaxed during the show?

To ensure guests feel comfortable, create a relaxed environment by keeping the atmosphere casual and friendly. Encourage laughter and conversation, and be attentive to guests’ needs. Offer refreshments and allow for breaks during the demonstration. Acknowledge any questions or concerns, and be flexible with the schedule to accommodate the group's energy and engagement levels.
