Please pray for the family of Ellen - I do not know her but my hearts and prayers are with her family.

The following is taken from the LMAD loop:

For those of you that didn't know Ellen, she used to help Kathy run
Kathyspcloop. I meet her one year in Chicago at National Conference.
She was a great friend, wife and mother. She will be truly missed.

Good morning,

In case Scott does not have your telephone number, I'm afraid I have
some very sad news to report. Our dear friend Ellen passed away on
Monday afternoon during her liver transplant surgery. Apparently, her
heart gave out on the operating table. There will be a wake on
Saturday
(2/9) and Sunday (2/10) and the funeral will be on Monday (2/11). The
hours and address of the funeral home are below.

Again, if this is the first you are hearing of this, I do apologize
for it being in an email, but it is the only way we know to contact
some of Ellen's many friends.

The hours for the wake are 3:00-8:00 pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
The funeral service will be at 10:00 am, at the funeral home.

Someone suggested that all the consultants sign a card and forward it
onto the family. That sounds like a great idea. We could mail a card
between all of us and then one person forward it onto her, but I think
that will take too long and be more headache than it is worth.

So, my thought is. If you want to mail a card. Send it to the family.

My badooops I posted on another thread about it being a person named Yvonne Peterson but she was just a contact person.

It is Ellen Diehl, and I personally did not know her. Let's pray for her family.

Additional information for those not on the LMAD loop:

I have been in touch with a close friend of Ellen's family. She has
passed on the following information to me to share with anyone who is
wanting to send flowers or a donation in Ellen's memory. The family
requests that in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the
following charity.

Ellen's favourite charity was St. Jude's Children's Hospital in
Tennessee. Here is the link for those who are interested in making a
donation in Ellen Diehl's memory.
