If I'm not mistaken, there is a Lemonade or Limeade or BOTH, recipe out there that can be make with the Citrus Press. I know it may be somewhat of a no-brainer, but I don't want to mess it up...

If anyone could share, I'd appreciate it!

Thanks so much!

Here's the one my director made at our last cluster meeting. She added strawberries so it would look pink for HWC.

Lemonade

2 lemons
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1 cup strawberries

Zest one lemon with the Lemon Zester/Scorer. Slice one lemon with the US&G. Place lemon slices into the Small Quick-Stir Pitcher. Add the zest. Juice remaining lemon with Citrus Press into pitcher.
Put sugar and water into Small Micro-Cooker and microwave and stir until melted together. Add to pitcher.
Hull strawberries using Cook's Corer and slice using Egg Slicer. Add to pitcher.
Fill pitcher with water and serve.

I made a strawberry lemonade at my fundraiser that was very good.
4-5 lemons
3/4 c. sugar
10c. water
can of frozed strawberry daquiri mix, thawed
I had the water measured in the quick-stir, squeezed the lemons with the citrus press, added the sugar & straw mix, and plunged. It was easy & yummy, my 2 favorite combos!

Frequently Asked Questions

What ingredients do I need for a basic lemonade or limeade recipe using the Citrus Press?

For a basic lemonade, you'll need fresh lemons, water, and sugar (or a sweetener of your choice). For limeade, simply substitute fresh limes for lemons. A typical ratio is 1 cup of freshly squeezed juice to 4 cups of water and 1 cup of sugar, but you can adjust the sweetness to your preference.

How do I use the Citrus Press to make lemonade or limeade?

To use the Citrus Press, cut your lemons or limes in half. Place one half in the press, cut side down, and squeeze the handles together to extract the juice. Repeat with the remaining halves until you have the desired amount of juice for your recipe.

Can I use bottled lemon or lime juice instead of fresh juice?

While you can use bottled lemon or lime juice, fresh juice typically provides a brighter flavor and better overall taste. If you choose to use bottled juice, make sure it is 100% juice without added sugars or preservatives for the best results.

How can I adjust the sweetness of my lemonade or limeade?

You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar to your mixture. Start with the recommended amount and taste as you go. You can also use alternative sweeteners like honey, agave syrup, or stevia to suit your dietary preferences.

What are some variations I can try with my lemonade or limeade?

There are many delicious variations you can try! Consider adding fresh herbs like mint or basil, fruits like strawberries or raspberries, or even a splash of soda for fizz. You can also experiment with flavored syrups or infusions for a unique twist on the classic recipe.
