Did they finally get rid of the portion where "fans" could write on the wall? It started to become a marketing place where consultants were posting their pws. Its sad it had to come to this! I actually enjoyed reading customers & consultants tips, reviews on products, & even answering questions... oh well!

It's there for me?

Had you not said that, I would have never found it. My "filters" button was on. ;)

After about a week, HO changed the page so that it defaults to "Pampered Chef Only" instead of PC and fans. That way when you visit the page you don't automatically see all the Consultant posts. But they're still there...

Hi there! As a fellow consultant, I completely understand your frustration with the wall becoming overrun with promotional posts. I'm happy to say that the company has made changes to the wall to ensure that it remains a place for customers and consultants to engage and share helpful tips and reviews. I'm glad that you enjoyed reading and participating in those discussions, and I hope you continue to do so. Let's keep the focus on our amazing products and helping our customers make delicious meals!

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Is Facebook really removing the wall feature from official fan pages?

As of now, Facebook has not officially announced the removal of the wall feature from fan pages. However, changes to how interactions occur on these pages are frequently updated, so it's important to stay informed through Facebook's official communications.

2. What will happen to fan interactions if the wall is removed?

If the wall feature is removed, fan interactions may shift to other areas of the page, such as comments on posts or dedicated discussion sections. Facebook typically aims to enhance user engagement, so alternative methods for interaction will likely be provided.

3. How will this change affect fan page visibility and engagement?

Changes to the wall feature could impact how fans engage with content. If the wall is removed, it may lead to a more structured interaction model, potentially increasing engagement through targeted posts rather than open wall posts. However, the exact impact would depend on how Facebook implements these changes.

4. Can page admins still post updates if the wall is removed?

Yes, page admins will still be able to post updates, photos, and videos on their fan pages. The removal of the wall would primarily affect how fans can interact with each other and the content posted by the page.

5. How can fans provide feedback about these changes?

Fans can provide feedback through Facebook's Help Center or by using the feedback options available on their fan pages. Facebook often considers user feedback when making changes, so it's important for users to voice their opinions and concerns.
