help!! i so want to do this booth her in Feb But it cots 350 for a booth space. i do not have the money for it. i was hoping for someone to share it with. My rectruiter is done doing pc expt for catalog shows only and she has no time for it. I e-mailed my director but she is gone right now. so how do all of you do it? I was very excited about doing it but not any more. i was thinking that this would be a great way of getting more names being i ran out and half of them are old people that just sign for any thing. so What to do? Please HELP:cry: so want more.

Yeah, $350 is a lot to spend. I wouldn't do it. Directors get some money to spend on booths, but I'm not sure how all that works--if she could help you out.

there is very little booths around here. one other one but no info on it yet. one is in march and i always do that one. bu need more to do.

Talk to the organizer. Explain your dilemma, new, etc. See if they can cut you a deal for this year.

Don't do it!

My recruiter and I, plus another consultant from our team, spent $400 on a booth that was a bridal expo. None of us ever got anything from it.

I never pay more than $50 for booth space and that has to be at least 6-8 hours or I don't do it. 4 consultants and I shared a booth that was $150 but it was 5 days 10+ hours a day... That was worth the money. No matter how desperate you are for leads, paying over $50 for a booth isn't worth it. Try getting some other DS consultants together at a church or somewhere for a "Pamper Yourself Silly Stop N Shop" or something. I am considering this since my Recruit needs some leads right now.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is paying $350 for a booth space at a craft fair worth it?

Whether $350 is worth it depends on several factors, including the expected foot traffic, the target audience, and your sales goals. If the event attracts a large number of potential customers who are interested in kitchen products, it could be a good investment. Consider the potential for sales and new customer contacts when making your decision.

What potential return on investment can I expect from a $350 booth space?

The return on investment can vary widely based on your sales strategy, product appeal, and engagement with customers. Many vendors aim to at least double their booth cost in sales. If you have a strong marketing plan and can effectively showcase your products, you may exceed that expectation.

What should I consider before paying for a booth space?

Before committing to a booth space, consider the event's reputation, the demographics of attendees, and the overall competition. Research past events to gauge potential sales and customer engagement. Additionally, think about your ability to attract customers to your booth through promotions or demonstrations.

Are there additional costs associated with having a booth?

Yes, in addition to the booth fee, consider costs for marketing materials, product inventory, display setup, and any necessary permits or licenses. Also, factor in travel and accommodation if the event is not local. It's essential to budget for these additional expenses to understand the total investment.

How can I maximize my sales at a booth space?

To maximize sales, create an inviting booth display, offer product demonstrations, and engage with attendees. Utilize social media to promote your presence at the event and consider offering exclusive event discounts. Building a mailing list for future marketing can also help turn one-time visitors into repeat customers.
