Just noticed that the DCB - white AND Cranberry are now on Back order - June 29th is the current date.Gee...didn't see that coming. ;)

I hope you are being sarcastic Bobbi! I have a friend back home who does ceramics. As a matter of inquiry, I asked her about the raw clay and where it comes from. She told me that she has a feeling it is not so much that they can not produce enough of them because of labor issues at the company who supplies us the finished product but rather because of raw materials supply issues. She is having trouble getting the clay powder she makes into "slip" that she needs to pour her products. She said something about the fact that the raw clay or clay powder most companies use, only comes from a few places in the states. So if these clay producers are either having labor issues, keeping or paying, or there are shipping issues, that will effect most of the ceramics companies that will only use US mined clays. As the DCB is stoneware that is molded from a clay, there could be a ton of reasons we do not enough. We should be relieved though that it has not been removed totally from our offerings. It might come to that but for now, at least they are shipping! Even if it the 29th of June. I assume we will hear something at NC. And like every other time, it will be something to "take in stride".
