They asked us to never come back and we were regulars there.

What? I can't believe they would say that especially since you tried to clean their rug!

Bleh! Bleh! Bleh!

When my son was little he would get sick if he got really upset. Despite an allergy or a medical condition...it is still a PARTY with FOOD!!!!! If you have small children, yes, you have a bit of a stronger stomach or tolerance for things like this. But the lack of sanitation and lack of consideration for anyone else but herself is just beyond my comprehension. Especially when she made reference to you starting to react to the whole environment too! I almost think I wouldn't have cared if she ordered or not. (ok...if she ordered about $300 of stuff...maybe:rolleyes: :p )
I just can't believe the inconsideration of some people. Thank goodness most of the world isn't like this.
May we bow down and worship our good customers!!!!!

First of all, GROSS
Second of all, I can't believe she sent him off to barf all over the other kids! I hope it wasn't the flu! If I were one of the other moms I think I'd be ticked!
Third of all, I cannot BELIEVE that she didn't wash her hands. YUCK YUCK YUCK!

As for the haircut/don't come back thing...that is obscene. People have accidents. It's not like he came and purposely threw up all over the place, and it's not like you were like, "gee, sorry" and left! I'd tell EVERYONE I knew to never go there again

I'm a pilot and flight instructor, and I always tell everyone "THERE'S NO THROWING UP IN THE AIRPLANE!!" It's happened a few times and it's all I can do not to throw up my own self before I get the thing on the ground!

This women should have left and taken her child home; however, the HOST also should have stepped in and suggested she leave (in a nice way)!!!

We aren't close to the people who attend our shows and it is not our place to tell them what to do. If someone came to my house and their child did that I would say, "Oh "Amy," you better take him home. "I'll help you gather your things." "You can take a catalog with you if you would like, or I can bring one to you tomorrow." I would then get up and get their coats and see them out the door!!

GROSS!! I agree with the others! That GVL should have taken her son home. I mean, now you are completely distracted and only thinking about her not washing her hands! EWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!

I am so amazed (and amused) at the stories everyone encounters. PC should write a book on crazy consultant experiences.

We were talking about this in my SD's room at Leadership this year. Everyone has stories of weird shows, getting lost, crazy hosts, etc. We all said that someone should collect them in a book or a website. We even thought of a name: Tales from the Crate.

I love the title!!:D

Seriously... If I had been the consultant the show would have been done because I would have gotten sick myself, and since a miscarriage a few years ago, when I vomit I wet myself. Sorry if TMI. I have no control. I would have been a mess. Can imagine adding THAT to what happened?

LOL but at least you would have washed your hands Anne. LOL

Being pregnant I can't cough, sneeze or laugh if I have too much in the bladder. It's pretty annoying!!

No one would have known though. It's our secret, until we get a chance to change and get cleaned up!!

The great thing is...in about 25 or so years...this will happen when you're not pregnant:eek:   Is this why they call it the "Golden Years"????
If not, with my parents being ill last year, we figured that it meant that the doctors would take all of your gold away in those years!

I too have tried to picture myself in Tanya's place and she handled this out of control woman the best she could. It probably was the host's place to nicely send her packing, but sounds like this selfish woman was determined to be miserable.

Hey...I know, Tanya...recruit her and secretly invite all of your Cheffer friends to be your guests for her first party!:D Sounds like if one of us gets "the party started" that we could out do her!!!!!:D I would GLADLY fly to MO just to help you out!!!!:) Well, we may have to think of something else disgusting because obviously THIS didn't bother her too much. Oh, and don't forget....no one can order anything either!:D I think my evil twin sister has to go now!!!
