It is important to have a plan before attending a bridal fair. Research the vendors that will be present and make a list of who you want to visit. Bring a notebook and pen to take notes and collect business cards. Also, wear comfortable shoes as you will be doing a lot of walking.
Besides a notebook and pen, it is helpful to have a folder to organize any brochures or business cards you receive. It is also a good idea to bring a friend or family member for support and to help carry any materials you may collect.
First, arrive early to beat the crowds and have more one-on-one time with vendors. Make sure to ask questions and take notes. Also, try to negotiate deals or discounts with vendors. Lastly, have fun and enjoy the experience!
After the bridal fair, review your notes and business cards and decide which vendors you want to follow up with. Send personalized emails or messages thanking them for their time and expressing your interest in their products or services. Also, make sure to keep in touch throughout the wedding planning process.
