I KNOW I've seen this recipe somewhere on here, but it's not coming up in any searches.

I think you use pizza/pasta sauce, and pour it on the bottom of a baker, fill the baker with biscuits and bake it...something like that

Anything? I want to make something easy, yummy, cheap and veggie-friendly for a party I'm having tonight.

That would be the Bubble-Up Pizza. Delish!

2-3 tubes standard refrigerated biscuits (use 2 tubes for the DDB, 3 for the Rectangular Baker)
spaghetti sauce
pizza toppings
shredded mozzarella cheese

Open the biscuits and cut them into quarters. Combine all ingredients except cheese and spread in the bottom of stoneware baker. Top with cheese. Bake at 350F for 30-40 minutes. (You may need to check that the biscuits in the middle are done - I'm typing this from memory.)

Use whatever toppings you like, and as much or as little sauce as you like, too.

Yes, that sounds fantastic! I think the one I read called for all ingredients on the bottom, then add the biscuits so when they're done you flip it out onto a plate...but I'm going to do it your way in a square baker. Yummmm.

Yep- it looks like a big mess in the mixing bowl, but it ends up like deep dish pizza (but with some sauce and toppings interspersed (that spelling looks wrong, but I'm too lazy to go get a dictionary) with the crust). The cheese goes on top, not mixed in.This is a great recipe because you can really personalize it with toppings and the amount of sauce. Heck, even the type of sauce! We like it at our house with a lot of pepperoni, ham and fresh mushrooms.

Frequently Asked Questions

What ingredients do I need to make Pull-Apart Pizza Bread?

To make Pull-Apart Pizza Bread, you will need refrigerated pizza dough, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni or your choice of toppings, Italian seasoning, and marinara sauce for dipping. Optional ingredients include garlic butter for brushing on top and fresh herbs for garnish.

How do I prepare the pizza dough for Pull-Apart Pizza Bread?

Start by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out the refrigerated pizza dough on a lightly floured surface. Cut the dough into small squares or strips, then layer your desired toppings and cheese between the pieces. You can stack them in a loaf pan or arrange them in a circular pattern on a baking sheet.

Can I customize the toppings for Pull-Apart Pizza Bread?

Absolutely! You can customize the toppings based on your preferences. Some popular options include different types of cheese, vegetables like bell peppers and onions, or even cooked sausage and bacon. Just be sure not to overload the dough to ensure it bakes evenly.

How long should I bake Pull-Apart Pizza Bread?

Bake the Pull-Apart Pizza Bread in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cheese is melted. If the top is browning too quickly, you can cover it loosely with aluminum foil to prevent burning.

Serve Pull-Apart Pizza Bread warm, directly from the oven. You can place it on a large platter or a cutting board for a rustic look. Don’t forget to provide marinara sauce or garlic butter for dipping, and encourage guests to pull apart their own pieces for a fun, interactive experience!
