I want to do a shopping spree raffle at a fundraiser. I would like to say that it is a drawing for a $100 shopping spree with a buy in of $10. But what if only 5 people buy tickets? then i am screwed with the extra $50.

What am i missing here?

It is a raffle based on the amount of tickets sold. Whomever wins will get the total amount sold as a shopping spree

kinda like the pampered pool?

Don't tell them a total number! Just wait to see what you wind up with.

Just discussed thisWe just discussed this last night at our cluster meeting.

My AD said she always has a "fine print" on these types of fundraisers. Like, if they are giving away a Stainless Steel Bowl Set, at least $60 in tickets need to be sold.

Many times raffles will have a minimum number of tickets to be sold (i.e., "Tickets will be sold through ____________, or until ______ tickets are sold, which ever is later"). I know I am seeing this more and more.

It's your raffle, your money, do what you need to do to make it work!

HTH!

What are the key components of a successful shopping spree raffle?

To ensure a successful shopping spree raffle, focus on three key components: attractive prizes, effective promotion, and clear rules. Choose desirable items that will excite participants, promote the raffle through various channels (social media, email, flyers), and provide clear instructions on how to enter and win.

How can I promote my shopping spree raffle effectively?

Promote your shopping spree raffle by utilizing social media platforms, email newsletters, and community bulletin boards. Create eye-catching graphics and share engaging posts that highlight the prizes and the cause. Sell raffle tickets both online and offline to maximize participation. Use platforms like Eventbrite or social media to sell tickets digitally, and set up a booth at local events or gatherings for in-person sales.
