Homemade Mayonnaise: Easy Cuisinart Recipe

In summary, to make homemade mayonnaise using a Cuisinart, you will need 1 large egg, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard, 1 cup of oil (such as canola or vegetable), and a pinch of salt and pepper. To prevent curdling, ensure all ingredients are at room temperature and add oil in a slow, steady stream while blending. Other types of oil, such as avocado or olive oil, can be used for added flavor. The homemade mayonnaise will last in the fridge for about 1 week and can be customized with ingredients like garlic, herbs, spices, or hot sauce.

Anyone tried it yet?? I just made a large batch in my Cuisinart, but thought, maybe I could pare it down and use the MFP

I've used my MFP. I know some people say it's not smooth enough for their tastes, but I liked it. I thought it was as smooth as what I've bought.

Thanks! I wondered about it getting the beans smooth enough, but definitely worth the test!

It will be chunkier but still very good. I used marinated artichokes in mine with some of the liquid. Very good!

Hi there! I have definitely tried making a large batch of recipes in my Cuisinart before and it has been a game changer in terms of time and efficiency. However, I haven't tried using the MFP yet, but I am definitely intrigued. Have you had success with using it for cooking? I would love to hear more about your experience. Happy cooking!
