While making the appropriate Jaws music (dun-na etc) inch the can opener towards the can until it can take a "bite" from the lid of the can. If you can pick up the can with the opener, you have a good bite. Then simply turn the top dorsil fin and the lid will come off. Simple as pie.

It will not look like the can is open so you'll need to use the "pliers" on the side (move the arms back and forth, you'll see it) to grasp the edge of the lid and pull up.

If your Pampered Chef can opener is not cutting properly, first ensure that the blades are clean and free from any debris. You can also check if the can opener is properly aligned with the can's edge. If the problem persists, consider adjusting the tension on the handle or replacing the blades if they are worn out.
To clean your Pampered Chef can opener, rinse it under warm water immediately after use to remove any food particles. You can use a soft sponge with mild soap to clean the blades. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may damage the finish. Make sure to dry it thoroughly before storing.
If your can opener is getting stuck on the can, it may be due to a misalignment or a buildup of food residue. Ensure that the can opener is properly positioned on the can's edge before turning the handle. If it continues to stick, inspect the gears and mechanisms for any obstructions or damage.
Yes, the Pampered Chef can opener is designed to work with various can sizes, including standard and pop-top cans. However, for optimal performance, ensure that the can opener is properly adjusted to fit the can's rim before use.
If your can opener is leaking or dripping, it may be due to a damaged seal or improper alignment. Check the can opener for any visible damage and ensure that it is securely fastened to the can. If the issue persists, consider contacting Pampered Chef customer service for assistance or potential replacement options.
