Helping out teams jump start for the fall. What kinds of ideas are you throwing out to your team to help them get bookings for the fall and promote the new products?

We did a theme show segment in our training meeting to get them thinking about what they could offer in the next several months (and to cross-sell the new products). They came up with a lot of ideas on their own doing this.

Entertaining Ideas, Gift Shopping without the Mall, Holiday Cooking for Crowds, Cookies and Candies...

90-Day RuleI and try to get my team thinking about the fall right after National Conference. Very few can get their businesses into full gear for September after lowering it a notch for the summer in a short amount of time. I let them know they'll need time to contact- follow up and follow thru. If they don't start then-they could miss alot of September- a very important selling month. The great host bonus for August this year combined with all the announcements from conference I think made it a little easier.

I'm using these flyers tonight. I got them from my old director and I typed them all up again. I think our biggest hurdle right now is Bookings!! If they can get bookings, everything else will be possible.

These are the flyers I'll be handing out tonight!!!!:D Hope you can use them!

I thought it was kind of funny that the weekly bites today talked about doing a booking blitz. I just sent an email to my team over the weekend, asking who was going to join me for our booking blitz this Thursday. I had several people say yes right away. Thank you Kristi for posting those flyers. I am going to forward the "Get bookings" one to them right now!

No problem Shana!! My team really enjoyed getting that tonight just for ideas!!! I can't wait to see what they do!! :D

This is great! Thanks for sharing.:money:

The last doc is unreadable though...

Thanks!! Try this:
I think it's because I might have saved under Microsoft 2007~!

My husband downloaded this the other night. It is amazing how it works. You can sit at your desk and look at Paris, Ireland, Russia, or your house! It is not live, real time but it is amazing. It also makes you realize even more how easy it would be to monitor our every move in real time, which of course I believe is being done when needed (or not, ha!) anyway.

Yeah I played with it for awhile, very fun to zoom around! :) Close view on cities is awesome too.

Yeah, played with it probably almost a year ago now...only on rare occasions...

I played with it when it first came out. They have really added a lot of stuff to it!

We use it to map out running courses around our house...

I do use maps.google.com a lot. Ever since I used mapquest to get to another city and I ended up in the backyard of someone in a completely different city!

My dh plays with Google Earth alot. He has friends from home who have registered their houses so when you look at the pictures you can see the name of the resident.

We have had it on the desktop for a while now. It is really neat to play with and put different locations in! You can even track flights on it!

I like to play with the google earth thing it just freaks me out that anyone can just go on there and look at how the military bases are set up, that with other information it could be devisating if something where to happen because people can see on the flight line or the other classified things that go on.

I've used Google Earth to check out the city I was born and raised in: Paramaribo, Suriname, South America. And, my, has it grown! I can still find my old homes and remember my way around. It's fun!

I live in San Antonio and I love pulling up my old hometown, Guam. I've even found my parents house there and saw their backyard and everything. It's too cool!
