The use & care guide for the Trifle Bowl doesn't say if it's oven safe. I'm assuming since it's glass that the top part would be oven safe, but has anyone ever tried it?

The top part of the Trifle Bowl is not oven safe due to its non-tempered glass construction. A user shared an experience where a friend successfully browned meringue in the bowl, but this was an exception rather than the rule. The manufacturer confirmed that using the bowl in the oven is unsafe and could lead to breakage and a mess. Therefore, it is crucial to avoid placing the Trifle Bowl in the oven to prevent accidents.
