quiverfull7 said:I did the online trainings today and she states on there that FB does not want (can't recall if she said "allow") for one person to have more than one profile. She said they do random audits and will take away the persons page if they find two profiles for the same person. If any of you have done the trainings and heard this or heard it differently than I did, please correct me here. I created a group today and had super response so far with friends accepting invites.

kcont said:Hope this helps...I took a FB for professionals workshop awhile back and Fan pages are defiantly the way to go for the business. I’m still building mine and haven't published it yet, sorry. But the fan page is allowed as a second profile page as it were, as are group pages. But with group pages your are limited as to how many messages are sent out per day and the fan page is not. Plus your fan page is 100% indexed by the search engines where the group and personal pages are just partially indexed. There is a lot you can do with the fan page and as I have moments of time I will be glad to post what I have learned.

DebbieJ said:Yeah, that's why I'm thinking of NOT creating a page. I have lots of hosts and customers who are my friends already and I don't want to make them follow me twice, if that makes sense. Pampered Chef is part of my LIFE, so I think just one profile is enough. LOL
Yes, creating a separate Facebook profile for your Pampered Chef business can help you maintain a professional image and keep your personal and business interactions distinct. This allows you to focus on your business audience without mixing in personal posts.
A separate profile allows you to target your marketing efforts specifically to potential customers, engage with your audience more effectively, and create a dedicated space for business-related content. It also helps in building a brand identity that is separate from your personal life.
Yes, using a Facebook page is often recommended over a separate profile. Pages are designed for businesses and allow you to access insights, run ads, and engage with followers more effectively. Profiles are intended for personal use, and using one for business purposes can violate Facebook's terms of service.
You should focus on posting content that is relevant to your Pampered Chef business, such as product showcases, cooking tips, recipes, customer testimonials, and promotions. Engaging with your audience through live videos or Q&A sessions can also help build community and interest in your products.
You can promote your business profile by sharing it in relevant groups, inviting friends and family to like your page, and posting engaging content that encourages shares and interactions. Additionally, consider using Facebook ads to reach a broader audience and attract potential customers.
