To make the Hot Pizza Dip with Fresh Garlic, you will need cream cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, pizza sauce, fresh garlic, Italian seasoning, and your choice of toppings such as pepperoni, bell peppers, or olives.
Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, pizza sauce, minced fresh garlic, and Italian seasoning. Spread the mixture into a baking dish, then top with shredded mozzarella and any additional toppings you like. Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
Yes, you can prepare the dip ahead of time! Assemble the dip in the baking dish, cover it with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for up to 24 hours before baking. Just add a few extra minutes to the baking time if you are baking it straight from the fridge.
This dip pairs well with a variety of dippers! You can serve it with tortilla chips, sliced baguette, pita chips, or fresh vegetables like celery and bell pepper sticks for a healthier option.
Absolutely! You can customize the dip by adding different cheeses, such as cheddar or provolone, or by incorporating cooked sausage, mushrooms, or spinach. For a spicy kick, consider adding crushed red pepper flakes or jalapeños.
