How many people either:

1) show the DVD at the cooking show
or
2) provide it to people who are interested in the opportunity

And if you do, do you do so with the somewhat unsolicited folks, i.e., the ones you think will be interested or only those with a strong desire?

I'm thinking of ordering these so I wanted to get a feel on how everyone uses them.

Thanks!

I provide the dvd to hosts in my host packet and then those that show interest. I don't have the time or energy at a show to show a dvd and people aren't there to see one...IMHO! :-)

Okay, so at the close of the show if the host is not interested do you ask her/him to return it?

You could say when you give it to them something like... I have enclosed a DVD for your viewing on the PC opportunity. Once you have watched, could you return it, or pass it along to someone else who you think might like to hear about the opportunity also.

Maybe not those exact words, but something like that, but clever ;) it's getting late! LOL

Yes, it says that in my Host Packet -- "I'll pick this up at our show" -- something like that.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who should receive DVDs at cooking shows?

DVDs at cooking shows are typically given to hosts, guests who show interest in the products, and potential recruits who express a desire to learn more about the business opportunity. It's a great way to provide valuable information and keep them engaged with the Pampered Chef brand.

Are DVDs only for new customers?

No, while new customers can benefit from DVDs, they can also be given to existing customers who may not be familiar with the latest products or cooking techniques. This helps to enhance their experience and encourage repeat business.

How can I determine who might benefit from a DVD?

Pay attention to the interests and questions of your guests during the cooking show. If someone shows enthusiasm for a particular recipe or product, or if they ask about cooking tips, they would likely appreciate receiving a DVD that aligns with those interests.

Should I give DVDs to everyone who attends the show?

It's not necessary to give DVDs to everyone. Focus on those who actively participate, show interest, or are potential hosts or recruits. This targeted approach ensures that the DVDs are appreciated and used effectively.

What if I run out of DVDs during a show?

If you run out of DVDs, consider offering a digital version or a follow-up email with links to relevant resources. You can also take down names and contact information to send them a DVD later, ensuring they still receive the valuable content.
