I'm used to just a name badge. Now I see all kinds of funky colors and symbols here. Without sifting through all the messages, can someone tell me what all the symbols mean: stars, etc. I want to put a copy next to the computer with me. Thanks.

Stars are based on the number of posts you have. They change occasionally, and without warning, but roughly they are:
"stripper" (outline only) - 850
Yellow - 1700
Pink - 2700
Blue - 5050The gold bars are for people who have donated $20 instead of $5 for the year. The pics are avatars. You can use one from the library or upload your own. It's in the control panel (user CP).

Oh, yeah- the little "light" in the lower corner of the name box is a status indicator. If the user is online, it's green. If they're not, it's blue/grey.Next to that is an alert symbol, which is to report the post as inappropriate to administrators.
