I have a customer asking if the mediumbar pan will fit over it sort of like a cover

Hmm..why does she want to cover it?

Mine is 9" x 15"

I was going to tell you to break out a ruler! That's what I do or look it up online under use and care directions, it might give it to you there! Too bad we don't sell the rec baker lid anymore. I use to use that to cover it, when I use to transport food from my house to a hosts! The double chocolate bread loaves are a nightmare to make at a show and try to cut them, you have to do it in advance!

The demensions are 9" x 15".

Thanks - She doesn't like to use plastic wrap and think she wants to use the bar pan as a cover - It would be nice if we had more covers for our stoneware

I don't have this stone and the online info doesn't tell the dimension of the whole stone

Just went into the kitchen and tested this out! :D The medium bar pan is far too small to cover it. But the large bar pan seems to fit nicely.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a mini-loaf pan used for?

A mini-loaf pan is designed for baking smaller portions of bread, cakes, or other baked goods. It allows you to create individual servings, making it perfect for gifting, portion control, or trying out new recipes without committing to a full-sized loaf.

What are the dimensions of a typical mini-loaf pan?

Most mini-loaf pans measure approximately 5.75 inches long, 3 inches wide, and 2 inches deep. However, dimensions can vary slightly by brand, so it's always a good idea to check the specific measurements of the pan you are using.

Can I use a mini-loaf pan for recipes that call for a standard loaf pan?

Yes, you can use a mini-loaf pan for recipes that call for a standard loaf pan, but you will need to adjust the baking time. Mini-loaves typically bake faster, so start checking for doneness about 10-15 minutes earlier than the recipe suggests.

What materials are mini-loaf pans made from?

Mini-loaf pans can be made from various materials, including non-stick metal, silicone, and glass. Each material has its own benefits, such as non-stick surfaces for easy release, silicone for flexibility, and glass for even heating.

How do I properly care for my mini-loaf pan?

To care for your mini-loaf pan, follow the manufacturer's instructions. Generally, it's best to hand wash non-stick pans with a soft sponge to avoid scratching the surface. Avoid using metal utensils that can damage the coating, and ensure the pan is completely dry before storing it.
