Hi everyone,

I have been a member for about a month and this is my first posting. I am doing a Magarita Sip and Dip next month and I am looking for a Magarita recipe to do in the Family Size Quik Stir Pitcher.

Thank you.

Beer Margarita?I know there are a couple of different beer margaritas floating around, but this is the one my husband and I enjoy:

2 cans 7-Up
2 bottles Corona beer (must be Corona)
2 cans frozen Bacardi frozen margarita mix (others have used lime-ade mix)
2-3 cups tequila (this is to taste - we use 2 1/2 cups)

Plunge, serve over ice, and enjoy (responsibly, of course ;) )

HTH,
Diane

Frequently Asked Questions

What ingredients do I need for a delicious family size margarita?

To make a family size margarita, you will need 2 cups of tequila, 1 cup of triple sec, 1 cup of fresh lime juice, and 4 cups of ice. You can also add a splash of orange juice for extra flavor and garnish with lime wedges and salt for the rim.

How do I prepare the margarita for my Sip and Dip event?

To prepare the margarita, combine the tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and ice in a blender. Blend until smooth and well combined. Taste and adjust the sweetness or tartness by adding more lime juice or a sweetener if desired. Serve in a large pitcher or individual glasses with salted rims.

Can I make the margarita ahead of time?

Yes, you can prepare the margarita mix ahead of time. Blend the ingredients without ice and store the mixture in the refrigerator. When you’re ready to serve, simply add ice to the individual glasses or to the pitcher for a refreshing drink.

What snacks pair well with margaritas at a Sip and Dip event?

Great snacks to pair with margaritas include tortilla chips with salsa or guacamole, shrimp cocktails, quesadillas, and fresh fruit skewers. These light and flavorful options complement the margarita perfectly.

Can I make a non-alcoholic version of the family size margarita?

Absolutely! For a non-alcoholic version, replace the tequila and triple sec with sparkling water or soda. Use the same amount of fresh lime juice and add a bit of simple syrup or agave for sweetness. Blend with ice and serve for a refreshing mocktail option.
