I have a customer who wants to take up orders for a catty show to get her daughter PC stuff. She just eloped over Thanksgiving. How would you suggest I do this?

You could have the mom collect the orders and pick out the host order stuff for her daughter. Put the daughter in as co-host. That way everything can ship to the mom, but the daughter will get all of the host benefits. Make sense?

I didn't know whether or not to do it like that or like a bridal catalog show.

If you do a catalog show, you can't have a co-host. If the mom doesn't care if she doesn't receive 10% off for the next year or share the discount on this show, that would be fine.

So my best bet would be to do it as a catty right? I didn't know if there would be more sales by people buying for the bride and themselves. Like at a regular bridal show. I know I am making this harder than it needs to be.

When I've done something similar, I've made up an order form which allowed people to order for themselves on one half and the bride on the other. I charged shipping only once. I put all the orders for the bride on one order. This made it clear that they could order for both themselves and the bride and made it easy for them.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Catty Show and how does it work?

A Catty Show, or catalog show, is a type of Pampered Chef party where guests can browse the catalog and place orders without the need for a live demonstration. The host collects orders over a specified period, usually a few weeks, and submits them to the consultant. It's a great option for those who may not be able to attend a traditional party.

How can I create an engaging Catty Show for my newly-wed daughter?

To create an engaging Catty Show, consider personalizing the experience by highlighting products that align with your daughter's cooking style and preferences. Include a personal note or story about why you chose specific items. You can also encourage guests to share their own favorite recipes or cooking tips related to the products featured in the catalog.

What are some tips for promoting the Catty Show to friends and family?

Promote the Catty Show by utilizing social media platforms, sending out personalized invitations via email or text, and creating a dedicated event page. Highlight the benefits of the products, any special promotions, and the convenience of shopping from home. Encourage guests to share the event with their own networks to increase participation.

How can I ensure my daughter receives the best products from the Catty Show?

To ensure your daughter receives the best products, create a wish list of items she would love and share it with potential guests. Encourage them to consider gifting her items from the list. Additionally, you can offer incentives for guests who purchase higher-priced items or bundle products together for better value.

What are some fun activities to include during the Catty Show?

Incorporate fun activities such as a recipe contest where guests submit their favorite recipes using Pampered Chef products, or a virtual cooking demonstration showcasing a simple recipe. You can also host a raffle for guests who place orders, giving them a chance to win a Pampered Chef product. These activities can enhance engagement and excitement around the show.
