I am doing a "mock" PC party tomorrow for a potential recruit who has never been to any direct sales party. I thought it would be fun to do a RL game tailored for recruiting and before I really put effort in I thought I'd see if anyone has anything since there are so many talented cheffers on here :)

If not I'll work on one and post it in case someone else wants it :)

I don't have one and have not seen one... but when you get yours done, I would love to see what you came up with!
On that note... I've been sort of working on an PC opportunity slide. I thought, if the booking slide works for bookings... why not an opportunity slide!?!?!? what do you think???

Carighan I made my Pc opportunity slide yesterday. Send me your email and I'll send it to you if you like.

Hi there! I love the idea of incorporating a game into your mock party for a potential recruit. It's a great way to make the experience more interactive and fun. Here's a game idea that I've used in the past for recruiting:"Left Right Gift Exchange" - This game is similar to the popular "White Elephant" game, but with a twist. Instead of bringing a gift to exchange, each guest will bring a kitchen gadget or tool that they love and use frequently. As the consultant, you will have a set of cards with different tasks or challenges written on them. Each guest will take turns choosing a card and completing the task. The tasks can include things like "Name your favorite PC product and why" or "Show us your favorite recipe using a PC tool". After completing the task, the guest will pass their gift to the person on their right. The game continues until all the tasks are completed and each guest ends up with a new kitchen gadget to take home. Not only is this game fun and interactive, but it also allows the potential recruit to see the variety and usefulness of our products. I hope this helps and good luck with your mock party! Let us know how it goes.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Left Right Game and how does it work?

The Left Right Game is a fun and interactive storytelling game often played at parties, including direct sales events. Participants sit in a circle and pass a small item (like a gift or a token) around while a story is read. Whenever the words "left" or "right" are mentioned, the item is passed in the corresponding direction. The game typically ends when the story concludes, and the person holding the item at that time wins a prize.

How can the Left Right Game enhance recruiting at direct sales parties?

The Left Right Game can enhance recruiting by creating a lively and engaging atmosphere that encourages interaction among guests. When participants are having fun, they are more likely to feel comfortable and open to discussing the business opportunity. The game can also serve as an icebreaker, making it easier for the host to introduce the direct sales opportunity in a relaxed setting.

Can the Left Right Game be tailored to promote specific products or the business opportunity?

Yes, the Left Right Game can be customized to highlight specific products or the business opportunity. For example, the story can incorporate product features, benefits, or testimonials, making it relevant to the direct sales brand. This approach not only entertains but also educates participants about the products and the potential of joining the business.

What are some tips for effectively incorporating the Left Right Game into a direct sales party?

To effectively incorporate the Left Right Game into a direct sales party, ensure that the story is engaging and relevant to the audience. Keep the game light-hearted and fun, and consider offering a small prize that relates to the products being sold. Additionally, use the game as a segue to discuss the business opportunity, emphasizing how joining the team can be as enjoyable as playing the game.

Are there any potential downsides to using the Left Right Game at direct sales parties?

While the Left Right Game can be a great icebreaker, it may not resonate with all guests. Some participants may feel uncomfortable with games or prefer a more straightforward approach to learning about the business opportunity. It's essential to gauge the audience's interest and be prepared to adapt the party format if necessary. Additionally, ensure that the game does not overshadow the primary purpose of the event, which is to showcase products and the business opportunity.
