It says in the recipe on CC to let it chill for 30 min. Do you have to do this step or can you just serve it right away?
 
This is one of my favorite trifles. I've done it at quite a few shows. Depending on the recipe combination, sometimes the trifle gets made first (and gets put in the fridge) and sometimes it gets made right before we serve it.

I would think it would be fine to make it and serve it right away.
