This is my first post even though I have read about 1000 threads! There is so much knowledge here, it's unreal!! I haven't had my first show yet, but if I can remember even a quarter of what I have learned here, then I will be fine! :o Ok, so I am a little nervous, but who wouldn't be, huh? Ok, off to read some more!

Welcome Misty! Yes, you'll be just fine. Lots of very experienced guys and gals around here to help bolster your self confidence.
 
My only piece of advice is: Do not spend money until you make money! I was a consultant about 3 years ago and I think I spent double what I made, then I had to quit. This time around I only ordered business cards and I'll qualify next week. Just a suggestion:-) Good Luck and Happy Reading!!!!!

Heh. I haven't even done that much! I bought business card forms at Target and printed my own! I think I was in nearly the same boat the first time I signed 4 years ago too, regarding spending more than I made. Keep it simple. last time it took me several months to qualify. This time I'm going to do it the first 30 days!

Work the phone. Work the net. and keep your shows simple short and sweet.

there was a special going on so i got 1000 cards for $22.
