Hello all!
This is my first thread:) but i have read a few here before (you all have some great ideas).

Im writing because I would love to use your ideas but I need to get another show first! I am having trouble getting bookings. I have tried everything from giving away prizes at my shows to those who book to cold calling people from my middle school year book ( )

Anyway i have a fair in June but that is about it...could anyone help me:)

I am in a small slump, so I decided to have a mystery host party. i am inviting anyone and everyone. There is a great invite listed on this site under files. You can easily adjust it to your needs. But i am hoping this will help my bookings, also remember to talk about Help Whip Cancer. Most people will do things for a good cause. Iam also doing a fundraiser in May for hwc. Last year this was a great success, also my first $1000 show. Hope this helps.

i would suggest doing either a past host appreciation party or an open house or both....i just held a past host appreciation party on sat. all the hosts brought $40 order in and could order at the show if they liked. i gave some free prizes away and it ended up being over a 300 dollar show...if you do an open house invite everyone you know and even some you don't. i will be holding one of these in april or may.

Those who decide to book first get first choice of which necklace they want. They wear around their neck so you can see who already wants a show.

Great idea! Has anyone tried this? What types of "inexpensive door prize items" would you suggest. AND, what sort of "special gift" would you give the host? Does it work well? Is the host receptive and are the guests?
