where I could send a file that I want printed (open house invites in color) ahead of time and then just go in and pick it up? Like picking pictures and sending them to Wal-Mart via Wal-Mart online and then an hour later picking them up. Does that make sense??

Probably not. I'm out of it today! My one month old decided that he couldn't sleep unless he was propped up against my chest last night. ALL night.

You can do that with Office Max and we do have a pretty good discount. Call your local Office Max and see where to email your file.

Office Depot can do that, too. And we also get a discount there.

Cool! Thanks girls. I really need to get ink for our printer.

If you have a FedEx/Kinkos nearby, they offer that service.

For black and white copies Office Max gives us about a 50% discount. FedEx is only 15%.

BTW, Staples does that too. Lots of choices!

And FedEx/Kinkos has inflated copy prices to start with, so the discount takes them down to the full price at other places.

I ran into a problem at Staples -- I ordered and submitted on-line and when I got to the store they said that wasn't their price (and it was a LOT of copies) -- the tried to charge me 4 times the on-line quote. (I was doing directories for the family reunion before I was a PC consultant)

I have brought the print out receipt from the web and made them honor the price.

OMG Laura. That's such a shame. I worked at Staples in the copy center and I can't imagine doing that.
