Mmmm...these were my mom's all time favorite cookies! She always used creamy peanut butter, though.

raebates said:Oh, that's nothin'. When I ran an after-school ministry we had an annual fall party. I served dog doo (no-bake cookies), cheesy fried eyeballs (Cheetos Cheese Balls), human brain (Jell-O in an anatomical mold), human heart (more Jell-O), human hand (yep, Jell-O), and bug juice (green Hi-C).
I also have a recipe for Kitty Litter Cake. It's served in a litter box (clean and unused for its original purpose, of course) with a litter scoop. There are appropriately shaped Tootsie Rolls Midgets pressed into and resting on top of the cake. It's wonderfully disgusting. :yuck:

No bake cookies are a type of dessert that doesn't require baking in the oven. They are typically made by combining ingredients like oats, peanut butter, cocoa powder, and sweeteners, then allowing the mixture to set at room temperature or in the refrigerator.
Sure! Here’s a basic recipe: Combine 1 cup of sugar, 1/2 cup of milk, and 1/2 cup of butter in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and let it boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in 1/2 cup of peanut butter, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 3 cups of oats. Drop spoonfuls onto wax paper and let them cool until set.
No bake cookies usually take about 30 minutes to 1 hour to set at room temperature. If you want to speed up the process, you can place them in the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes.
Absolutely! No bake cookies are very versatile. You can add ingredients like chocolate chips, nuts, dried fruit, or coconut to customize the flavor and texture to your liking.
Yes, you can modify no bake cookie recipes to fit various dietary needs. For example, you can use gluten-free oats for a gluten-free version, or substitute maple syrup or agave nectar for sugar to make them refined sugar-free.
