One way that I "drain" meats safely, is just push the meat to one side of the DCB, tilt it slightly and stick papertowels on the liquid. I sucks it right up and you can just throw away the papertowels. That way I'm not trying to hold the DCB, balance, pray meat doesnt fall down the sink, drop...

Ugh, salad. I'm hoping that they don't serve that in Hartford. Sometimes I wish being GF was more of a choice. I'd probably take a crappy sandwich rather than a salad. Salads seem to make me more hungry. I might just pack myself my own sandwich just in case. :grumpy:

I don't know what other stores you have around you, but I know where I live, Stop and Shop is bloody expensive. The store that I normally shop at literally cut my bill in half without using coupons. Anyway you can check out another grocery store to see their prices?

LOL. MH thinks that it wouldn't be worth it for the $$ that we would have to spend on it. He even asked if there was an option to get a cash payout instead of the trip. I lied and said no. He'd buy a TV....I want a vacation!

I don't read them anymore, but I absolutely loved The Baby-Sitter's Club books. My parents tried to get me to read other books (with more history, etc in them), but I wouldn't touch them. They eventually caved and let me read these books since it at least kept me reading!
